My family and I are traveling to Sicily for the first time. It is my mother’s 80th birthday and we are exploring her family roots. I was wondering if you would do an 1 day / 1/2 day cooking class for 5 people? We are staying in Erice at a private villa, we arrive 24th of April and leave 1st May. Please let me know if you would consider a class and what the cost would be? Thanks John

An 80th birthday must be celebrated in the best possible way and we are pleased to partecipate this moment by suggesting you a good experience , so please below find our proposal.
Discover the secret’s of the Sicilian kitchen and the use of extra virgin olive oil
10.30 am Arrival at Menfi. Introduction of the day
11.00 – 13.00 Cooking demonstration
1 – 1.20 pm Drinks followed by lunch
Departure at your convenience
Lessons are hands on and the menu will be put together to meet your requirements. It usually includes a starter to be had over drinks one or two first courses, a second course of meat or fish, a vegetable side dish and a dessert.
Sample menu could include:
Sicilian arancine and white sauce croquet
Timballo di anelletti or Capellini al forno (Pasta dish)
Fish in a sweet and sour onion topping
Sarde a beccafico
Seasonal vegetables
Ricotta cake or Chocolate almond cake
