The gardens are still in their infancy, but will soon be lush and mature. The main house is on three levels. The main living level is reached by a flight of steps from the garden, and consists of a kitchen, a splendid outdoor dining area, and a living room with another comfortable terrace furnished with two sofas. On the next level up is an attic with two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and private terraces. On the ground floor level are another three bedrooms, each with its own large bathroom, and a spacious reception room opening on the garden. There is also a guest bathroom. A short distance from the main house, but absolutely independent, is a dependance, or annexe, with two double rooms and two single rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and private terrace. The extensive garden includes a lawn and swimming pool (20m by 8m, part of it deep enough for diving) and a sunbathing area. The villa is also located just 300m from the sandy beach of Caucana. Great attention has been paid to furnishings and decor, with occasional eccentric and individual touches that reflect the eclectic and artistic taste of the owners – even the bedlinen is special!

The Masseria Pernice is the property of a family of Sicilian aristocrats and lies on a 135 hectare estate of vineyards, olive groves and pastureland.
The farmhouse, or baglio, was built at the beginning of the 20th century and has a classic Sicilian-style internal courtyard. The four apartments facing the main farmhouse were used by workers during the grape and olive harvests and have been restored according to the principals of bio-architecture, and decorated with family heirlooms, Sicilian ceramics and antique prints.
The baglio retains its traditional cobbles, and its pale pink walls are covered with bougainvillea, jasmine, roses and geraniums, creating an atmosphere which is at the same time simple, welcoming and peaceful. There is a salone – open to all guests — created within what was once the granary. From here, you pass into a splendid garden set against hills covered with pines and eucalypti, where you will find a large swimming pool (14m x 7m) where you can keep cool in the heat of the summer, as well as a shady patio and an area for barbeques.

The nucleus of the ancient farmhouse is a 17th century watchtower that was later converted into an olive press.
It remains a typical Sicilian casale, part of it designed to meet the needs of the farm, the other part a refined living space for its landed gentry owners , with little formal garden and antique majolica tiles on its floors.
The current owners have retained the original structure, restored the ancient stone-vaulting, and used natural pigments on the walls, yet have transformed the house into one that has all modern comforts. The spacious living room has a fireplace and a large window with lovely views over the lawn and swimming pool to the Tyrhenian seaand the Aeolian Islands. There is also an extremely well-equipped kitchen , and each elegant bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Piccolo Casale has a lovely location, secluded and verdant, yet it is just 500 metres from the sea – perfect for anyone who likes to swim, yet wants peace and quiet at home.

Zagara lies in one of the most beautiful corners of Sicily, among the luxuriant citrus groves of the plain of Catania between Mount Etna and the sea, on an estate of around 120 hectares. Most of the land is devoted to the production of highly prized varieties of organic oranges, mandarins and clementines, but on its fringes woods extend to the slopes of Monte San Basilio.
The main house has been recently restored. Great pains have been taken to retain architectural features typical of the area, while at the same time incorporating every modern comfort. A magnificent swimming pool, a sauna and a tennis court(where you can also play at night) add the final touch to a stay in this splendid and luxurious villa.
The villa is located on the plain of Catania in the triangle between the towns of Scordia, Lentini and Palagonia.

The villa lies within the historic core of Mondello, an area known as ‘delle saline’, which still retains something of the appearance and atmosphere of the modest fishing village Mondello was before becoming Palermo’s most fashionable seaside resort.
The villa’s name, ‘a thousand and one nights’ reflects its exotic Moorish-style architecture. It is set in three different buildings within a vast garden – a rare thing in Mondello.
The first building, Arabic in style, and closest to the entrance, houses the first bedroom. A small private terrace guarantees guests maximum privacy.
From here a long paved avenue, flanked by luxuriant vegetation, leads to the building housing the living area. This consists of a spacious living room, an carefuklly hidden kitchen, a bar area, and an ample patio with dining table and sofas.
The third building holds the rest of the bedrooms – two double rooms with ensuite bathroom on the ground floor, and on the upper floor (reached via a spiral staircase) a suite, consisting of a spacious living room, bedroom with small terrace, a small kitchen and a bathroom.
The fulcrum of the villa, however, is the luxuriant garden with its swimming pool. Several little ‘conversation corners’, set with garden furniture, and illuminated at night, make it a genuine outdoor living room. The swimming pool is large, with a slide and diving board. There is a changing room and bathroom nearby.

The original structure of Borgo San Cono, a typical aristocratic country home, dates back to the 17th century. Additional wings were added over the centuries to make the home larger and more comfortable, while maintaining its features as a fortified stronghold dominating the vast surrounding estate of around 50 hectares planted with citrus and olive trees. This continued up to the early 20th century when the home achieved its current appearance.
The long driveway, shaded by olive, almond and oak trees, immediately transmits the sensation of charm and tranquillity that is a feature of Borgo San Cono.
The extensive grounds contain plenty of surprises, from the magnificent vegetation to the ruins of an ancient Byzantine convent, which has been excavated in recent years by German and Austrian archaeologists. There is also an ancient farm building, the sheepcote, where ricotta and cheese are still produced today, as well as plenty of corners where you can relax and enjoy a magnificent sea view over the Aeolian Islands and the explosion of colours of the luxuriant nature that the estate is blessed with.
