Villa Oasi – Vendicari
Villa Oasi – Vendicari
Sleeps 8
Features: Spartan elegance within the magnificent Vendicari nature reserve
For those who love nature, the Vendicari reserve is a true paradise.
However, you could visit the reserve for years, without ever noticing this enchanting villa, so perfectly in harmony is it with the landscape that surrounds it.
More than anything, this is because the villa has been there for centuries, part of an ancient farm overlooking Vendicari’s salt lakes and their numerous migratory birds. It is an authentic country house, surrounded by vast fields, rebuilt with flawless sensitivity and respect for the unique landscape in which it is set. This is a delicate and minimalist restoration, yet one that is functional and perfectly adapted for anyone wanting a calm and tranquil holiday amid one of Europe’s most enchanting natural oases. For example, an ancient drinking trough has been transformed into a swimming pool (2m x 10m).
Whitewashed walls and simple rustic furniture of distressed wood suffuse the house with the atmosphere of a Sicilian country house of many years ago. Add to this the space and light of this landscape, and you have everything you need for a unforgettable holiday.
Villa Ninfea
The villa has two separate blocks. The sleeping area (with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) overlooks a romantic little lake, of which there is a picture postcard view from the corridor window.
The living area (with a large living/dining room and kitchen) has a delightful patio directly overlooking the swimming pool.
In both the living and sleeping areas large windows provide plenty of natural daylight, causing the environment to blend with the lovely surrounding nature.
The property is furnished with extreme care, including important pieces of handmade ethnic furniture.
The whole villa is surrounded by a wonderful garden.

Dammusi di Venere – Pantelleria
I Dammusi di Venere - Pantelleria
“Dammusi di Venere”, is a typical Pantelleria-style home, which has been reinterpreted and perfectly restored to adapt it to modern needs. It is part of the “Specchio di Venere” (Mirror of Venus) nature reserve, on the hills above “Lago di Venere”, just a few minutes’ drive from the district of Bugeber and around 10 km from the centre of Pantelleria.
The Villa is surrounded by spacious grounds with centuries-old trees, vines and citrus fruits, which are cultivated in the style of Pantelleria, on plots of land enclosed by dry stone walls.
Its position gives it an enchanting view over the Lake of Venus and the sea, which seems the natural extension of its delightful infinity pool, expertly built to create this incredible visual effect and to ensure peace and relaxation for guests in one of the most atmospheric places on the island.
